Tired of Adobe's increasingly getting heavy-weight applications,I'm looking for an open-source alternative for Adobe Fireworks.

There are more than a dozen graphics editing applications positioned in the similar ctaegory as Fireworks.

In my experience GIMP is the best open-source alternative with GNU license.
